VSG Commerce™ realized a need for their clients to be able to generate on-demand, self-service documents for signature within Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC). 

As a sample integration between Oracle CX Commerce (Commerce Cloud) and DocuSign, VSG Commerce created a proof of concept for document templates and the PowerForm functionality that requires customers to execute a legal document prior to completing a sale.  By utilizing PowerForm and Docusign, we eliminate document preparation time and easily pull collected data into the existing application.

In our example scenario, customers navigate the OCC storefront to select a service level plus extras and add them to a cart as they would in a typical e-commerce experience.  When the customer attempts to complete their order, they are prompted for legal information that must be captured in the documentation.  We then use those details to populate a PowerForm that the customer is required to complete.  The customer is then redirected to DocuSign to review and sign the newly-created document.  Upon successful completion, they are returned to the storefront to provide their payment details and confirm the order.
